Global Business Development

Lisa Stitzel spent 20 years in business development and consulting for financial services with TIAA-CREF. Her career brought her from Boise to New York City to Chicago, and now Minneapolis. Much of her career was dedicated to supporting non-profit institutions such as:  universities, research institutions, hospitals and cultural institutions. She sold institutional financial products and services, consulted on employee benefits plans, and provided financial education to employees. Most recently, Lisa was an internal wholesaler for Trust services, including managing planned giving programs and endowment investments.

A pet project for Lisa is financial literacy for youth. She serves on the board for the Minnesota Jump$tart Coalition which promotes financial education for K-12. Lisa also volunteers for Jewish Community Action and the National Community Reinvestment Coalition to help prevent foreclosures and evictions in the Twin Cities area.

Lisa earned her Certified Financial Planner designation in the mid 1990s. She graduated from NYU with a MA in Liberal Studies (emphasis on law and literature), a BA from the University of Idaho in Communications and was an exchange student for a year in Southern France.

Lisa has a strong do-gooder side and loves working for Hello Viking.  She has seen firsthand how the company has helped its clients increase their revenues through the integration of digital and social media with traditional forms of advertising. She also appreciates working in a creative, innovative environment where ideas are put into action and celebrated.
